## In my words

Some entries carry more than the one-line note. Most do not, and an entry missing from this list simply means I have not written it up, not that I had nothing good to say.

### Design Engineer Tools

- What I like: Of the design engineering galleries I have looked at, this is the one whose own design I would rather copy. I prefer it to Brian Lovin's, which covers the same ground.

### Rare UI

- What I like: This is the one I have actually built from. The proximity sidebar in this site's own nav is a vanilla port of theirs, and the folder component is next on my list.

## About the screenshots

These are screenshots of other people's sites, captured automatically on the day the site was saved. Every row credits the original with a link to it.

Each shot is the whole page, top to bottom, in whatever colour scheme the site itself renders by default. Very long pages are cut off after 12,000 pixels.

The palette is read off the pixels of that screenshot, most-used colour first. It is measured, not chosen, so it is a description of the capture rather than the designer's own swatches.

## About the collections

Collections are groupings I made by hand. They overlap: a site can be in several of them, or in none, and the column is empty for most entries.

Each one is browsable at /sites/collection/<slug>, using the slug exactly as it appears in the column.
