About

The long version of the two lines on the front page: who I am, what this site is, and where the things on it come from.

Who I am

I co-founded Orbis, an AI healthcare company. I am not the one running it. The thing I run is Vetted, my AI consulting practice, and that is where most of my working hours go.

Part entrepreneur, part marketer, part operator is the closest I get to an honest job title. I build things on the internet with AI, from Canada. I stopped trying to pick one of those three words a while ago.

What this site is

My mindscape, in public. Five sections, each holding a kind of thing I would otherwise lose track of.

Tools is software I installed and actually ran, with a verdict and the date that verdict was last true. Sites is other people’s websites, saved for how they look, each with a full-page screenshot of the day I saved it. Library is what I read and watch, kept for the record rather than as a list of recommendations. Notes is short writing. Experiments is what is running right now, with the ones I killed still on the page.

A section only exists here if it has something in it. There are no coming-soon pages, and nothing is waiting in a drafts folder, because there is no drafts folder.

Where the data comes from

Me, on my own work. I test this software on my companies and on client projects, so a verdict here is one I formed while trying to ship something, not one I formed while reading a launch post. That is also the limit of it. My use case is agent tooling and small-team software, and a tool that lost a head-to-head on my work might win on yours.

Every opinion carries the date it was last true. An old date is a warning, not a badge, and I would rather you saw it than not.

The site publishes itself. I save a link on my phone and a run a few hours later puts it here with a screenshot beside it. That is why some rows say nothing more than that I saved the thing and have not tested it yet. It is the truth on that date, and better than a verdict I have not earned.

Elsewhere

GitHub and X are in the footer of every page. If you want to write to me, /contact has the address and an honest note about what I answer. /privacy covers what this site collects, which is nothing, and how to get a screenshot of your own site taken down.
